“The roof was constructed on a supporting structure made of 600 m² of wooden slats,” explains Egon. “The first layer consists of a vapour barrier, the IKO base P3 T/F Atelia 10 m, which was mechanically fixed with wide-headed nails.
IKO enertherm Atelia insulation boards with a thickness of 115 mm were also mechanically fixed with recyclable PP (polypropylene) fasteners. The bituminous membrane IKO base P3 T/F Atelia 10 m was used as an underlay; it was also attached with polypropylene fasteners that are fully recyclable.
The roof was finished with IKO powergum 4 AW/F Atelia 7.5 m. This cap sheet with white slate granules was heat-welded onto the underlay.”
